I am a drawer and painter primarily working in narrative realism with art as my way of processing my experience as a human being in the world. I am moved by the beauty in the ordinary, always remembering that the things that connect us are far more important than the things that separate us.

Humanity is but a blip on the space-time continuum, with each of us just a blip on that line. Connected, overlapping, back and forth, rinse and repeat. Birth. Life. Mamas. Papas. Play. Fight. Love. War. Love. Death. The same old story.

In my work I seek to depict the everyday stories in the fabric of existence - past, present and future - that connect us all. Often working from vintage photos, I use oils, acrylics, drawing media and collage, with an added touch of humor and a pinch of the absurd.

It is my hope that the art I make connects with others as we find our way together on this little blue ball spinning in space. Though we are but a blip in Time, we must see and feel our collective Humanity and use our Blip well.
