I think of myself as a narrative realist. Whether figurative or scenic, a mural or my personal artwork, I strive to tell a story. I am inspired by the world as it presents itself in front of me and am just as stirred by a man on a bus stop as I am by the half mile of woods that flank my driveway. I believe that art, with it's ability to evoke emotion in the human psyche, can be a voice for positive change in the world.
I currently spend most of my time on mural projects, both solo and in collaboration with other artists and communities. When time allows, you can find me in my little hunting cabin studio outside of Sandstone, Minnesota where I endeavor to portray the beauty found in the everyday.
